What if the iPad is stolen?

Rotate the kiosk token in the console — the old one dies instantly. The stolen iPad gets 'invalid token' on the next fetch and can no longer see child names.

Could someone read the screen and learn the children's names?

The kiosk only shows children enrolled in after-school and bound to that kiosk's room — never the whole school. Data minimisation is part of the kiosk the system.

What happens if the network drops?

The last tile list is cached so children can still tap. The event is queued locally and syncs as soon as the network returns.

Is there a login button?

No. The kiosk is deliberately anonymous to the child — a login would break the 5-year-old flow. School staff sign in via their own console.
